MIGA Millennium Institute

The Millennium Institute on Green Ammonia as an Energy Vector (MIGA) is created in 2022 as part of the Millennium Science Initiative, a program of the National Agency for Research and Development (ANID), part of the Chilean Ministry of Science, Technology, Knowledge and Innovation.

Our vision is "To become a leading international R&D center in renewable energy vectors".

Our mission is to contribute to society through the technological development of renewable energy vectors, basic and applied research, innovation, technology transfer, support to public policies and the training of highly qualified human capital.

Our values are: Collaboration, sustainability, responsibility and inclusion, integrity and territorial integration.

Sustainable production and ammonia as an energy vector

MIGA seeks to contribute to the generation of knowledge and technology on issues related to sustainable production and the use of ammonia as an energy vector, in the context of the global climate change we are facing.

To meet this objective, we have a multidisciplinary team composed of chemists, physicists and engineers, with previous interdisciplinary work demonstrable through research projects, scientific articles and academic work.

MIGA is integrated by researchers from:
